The LZ series metal tube float flowmeter adopts the principle of variable area measurement and is produced as a metal tube float flowmeter. A flowmeter mainly consists of three basic parts: 1. measuring tube body; 2. Cone shaped float; 3. Indicator. The displacement of the float is proportional to the flow rate, and through a magnetic coupling system, the displacement of the float is transmitted to the indicator in a non-contact manner to indicate the flow rate. Different converters can also be installed to convert flow values into standard 4-20mA electric remote transmission signals, achieving functions such as remote display, recording, integration, and control.
LZ series metal tube float flowmeter, suitable for measuring liquids and gases. In the design of measuring tubes, various structural types of measuring tubes have been configured for different pipeline conditions and special fluid measurement requirements, such as insulation jacket type, damper type, etc. In addition to standard options, special designs can also be made for users, such as high-pressure and high-temperature types, to meet their requirements to the greatest extent possible.
The LZ series metal tube float flowmeter can provide reliable and applicable functional combinations for various application scenarios in indicator design. As indicated by on-site pointers, LCD displays instantaneous and cumulative flow rates, etc. In terms of indicator power supply selection, there are battery power supply, 24VDC power supply, and 220VAC power supply, which are convenient for users to choose based on on-site conditions. If the medium contains ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter should be installed at the inlet of the flowmeter. The magnetic filter is equipped with magnetic rods arranged in a spiral pattern to minimize pressure loss. There are two types of magnetic filters that are suitable for all instrument sizes. The material is 304, 316 or 316L. When used for corrosive media, the cylinder and magnetic rod are wrapped in PTFE to prevent corrosion by the medium. The flange connection size of the magnetic filter is the same as the corresponding flowmeter.

If the inlet flow rate (pressure) of the flowmeter is unstable, especially for gas measurement, a damper structure is designed to ensure the measurement accuracy of the instrument and extend its service life. Its structure is shown in the figure.
For gases with small particles or dust, dampers are not suitable for use. In this situation, to ensure normal operation, it is required that the inlet pressure be greater than 5 times the instrument pressure loss. For DN15 caliber, a pressure regulator (constant current regulator) can also be used to stabilize the flow rate.

Intrinsic safety explosion-proof system
The LZD series metal tube float flowmeter must be used in conjunction with the LB906 Zener safety barrier to form an intrinsically safe explosion-proof system. The wiring of this security system should avoid the influence of external electromagnetic interference as much as possible, and the cable distribution parameters should be controlled within 0.08 μ F and 2 mH. The high operating voltage of the control room instruments connected to the safety barrier or the high voltage that may be generated internally shall not exceed 250V rms. The safety barrier must be installed in a safe place. The installation, use, and maintenance of safety barriers should comply with the user manual. Users must carefully read the product manual and comply with the "Electrical Safety Regulations for Explosive Hazardous Areas of the People's Republic of China" when installing, using, and maintaining the LZD series metal tube float flowmeter.
The casing of the metal tube float flowmeter is equipped with a grounding terminal, and users should ensure reliable grounding during use.

Upper and lower limit alarm switch
The limit switch alarm device of LZ series metal tube float flowmeter consists of limit pointer, contactless switch, asymptotic board, built-in amplification relay, and power supply. The power supply needs to be installed separately. When the asymptotic board passes through the gap of the contactless switch, an alarm signal is generated. Users can install one or two alarm systems as needed, and the switch points can be set through the limit pointer on the dial to achieve preset alarms for the upper, lower, or upper and lower limits of any flow rate. The position of the limit pointer simultaneously indicates the limit value.
Limit alarm power supply 24V DC; Power consumption ≤ 3W; Contact capacity 3A/220V; Working temperature -25 ° C to 60 ° C. The limit switch alarm device adopts a pre-set conversion amplification relay in the table, which directly outputs a contact capacity of 3A/220V normally open (standard type) or normally closed signal.
